RUN LANCS (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a running community platform connecting runners, clubs and group runs across Lancashire, UK. You can contact us at hello@runlancs.com.

We collect the following information when you create an account or use RUN LANCS:

• Email address — used to identify your account and send important notifications
• Display name — shown publicly on your profile and runs you join or host
• City / town — used to surface relevant runs and clubs near you
• Ability level and preferred distances — used to personalise your experience
• Profile photo — optional, shown on your public profile
• Run activity — runs you create, join, or attend on the platform
• Sign-in provider data — if you sign in with Apple or Facebook, we receive a unique identifier and your name/email as permitted by that provider

• To create and manage your account
• To display your profile to other runners on the platform
• To show you relevant runs and clubs near your location
• To send transactional emails (sign-in codes, run confirmations)
• To improve and develop the platform

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

We use the following third-party services to operate RUN LANCS:

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (servers located in the EU)
• Apple Sign In — optional sign-in method
• Facebook Login — optional sign-in method (Meta Platforms Inc.)
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on sign-in forms

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability

We use essential cookies only — to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via the app. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
